Roy Holaway, founder of Copperstate, begins his career in the Cash Register business as a service technician in 1952 at Arizona Cash Register in Tucson Arizona.
Roy Holaway moves to Phoenix and is awarded the Victor Cash Register Dealership for Phoenix and opens Copperstate Cash Register Company downtown Tempe off Mill Avenue.
Copperstate expands and purchases new facility near 16th Street and Van Buren in Phoenix.
Copperstate expands once again and purchases a new facility at 32nd Street and McDowell.
Copperstate is awarded the Micros Hospitality POS technology dealership for the Phoenix market.
Brad Holaway joins the Copperstate Team as Sales manager.
Tom Francis joins the Copperstate Team to manager the personal computer division.
Copperstate sells off the cash register and computer divisions of the company to focus 100% on the Restaurant and hospitality division.
Brad Holaway and Tom Francis buy out Roy Holaway as new owners of Copperstate. Roy enjoys a much deserved retirement.
Copperstate designs and builds it’s state-of-the-art facility at 7725 E Evans Road in the Scottsdale Airpark.
Copperstate is recognized by Micros for 30 years of successful partnership.
